Senior Manager/ Manager, Group HR (International)

The incumbent shall be part of the Group Human Resource team which supports the Group’s growth, primarily through providing HR support for growth projects (locally and overseas) which the Group undertakes and managing HR matters of employees on overseas assignments.

Key Responsibilities

A) Management of Employees on Overseas Assignment
* Manage all aspects of human resources for employees on overseas assignment,
from deployment till end of assignment, including individual income tax,
cost charging matters, etc.
* Review, develop and implement company guidelines, policies and procedures on
overseas assignment issues.

B) Development of New Projects
* Support the business development team in the development of new projects by
performing HR due diligence, providing manpower costing, etc. for costing
and evaluation of new projects.
* Develop and implement the staffing plan, organization structure, human
resource policies, systems and process for new overseas projects/entities in
compliance with local regulations and alignment with Group policies.
* Maintain involvement with new overseas projects/entities for an extended
period to develop policies, processes and procedures and handle employee
relations issues.

C) Oversight of Country HR
* Act as conduit of country HR managers, as assigned, to Group Human Resource
and manage country HR from a functional reporting angle.

Key Requirements

• Degree in HRM or Business Admin with 6 years of working experience in
managing international HR including employees on overseas assignment and
management of local HR issues outside Singapore
• Proficient in MS Office and numerically competent
• Able to travel and be posted overseas for a short period of time at short
• A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Culturally adaptable, resourceful and strong in planning & problem solving
