Senior Manager/ Manager Marketing SembPower


As a marketer, you will lead and develop the business unit’s marketing function. In this key role you will be responsible for formulating and implementing marketing strategy to support the business to grow market share and drive brand awareness across all market segments.
To be successful in this position you will work collaboratively with Sales, Customer Service, Product Development and the Management Teams to develop channel focused, integrated marketing plans which promote a clear and consistent message, engage customers and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage agencies and internal team
• Assume ultimate responsibility for developing and delivering clear B2B and B2C
marketing and communication strategies which drive revenue growth, increase
awareness of the business unit within target markets and meet strategic objectives
• Manage brand, market and product positioning across each market segment
• Manage customer and prospect data (customer insights) and use this to drive
decisions and influence tactical activity
• Lead and manage the above in a cost effective manner including regular reporting
on the effectiveness, impact and return on investment to the Management Team and
the wider business
• Lead the development and implementation of the business unit digital marketing
strategy
• Provide strategic input to business plans

Skills & Experience:
• Experience as a senior marketing team lead in a service-focused
technology / retail business which is driven by quality and customer service/
retail operations
• Previous experience leading and developing a marketing function
• Previous experience in telecommunications and/or a passion for the retail
industry and related emerging technologies is preferred
• Engaging leader who gains buy-in and respect from team and peers
• Considerable people management skills and experience, including a track record of
building, developing and transforming teams
• Ability to work autonomously, delegate, prioritise and manage a considerable
workload
• Sound financial and budgetary management and solid commercial acumen
• Strong analytical, project management and problem solving skills, with high
attention to detail
• Ability to think strategically and creatively to exploit and identify business
opportunities
• The ability to adapt to a changing business and market place
