This is a new team, in an evolving area, so you’ll need to be the kind of person who thrives on change. Much hinges on your partnership-building, negotiation and analytical skills: you’ll need to co-ordinate internal and external parties to reach investment decisions and work hand in hand with colleagues from various departments.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Prepare marketing collaterals, identify target customers across the solar value chain & develop innovative commercial propositions
• Engage with the market to increase network and build partnership opportunities, and to subsequently follow up on leads as well as site visits
• Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
• Prepare and submit gate paper to Senior Management for approval.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate offtake agreements and financing, and joint development/ partnership agreements
• Respond to RFPs, Project Tenders and internal sales opportunity requests
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the regulators, new and existing customers
• Work with the Retail team to package conventional and green power for sales to Customers
• Manage and monetize environmental attributes from our operating assetsEngage with the market to increase network and to build partnership opportunities

Requirements:
• Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience in contractual related roles, preferably in the renewables sector
• Good understanding of Power/ electricity market in Singapore, as well as the risk and value drivers in solar PV projects
• Demonstrated ability in successfully working with cross-functional teams including technical groups, accounting functions, and project development
• Commercial focus, results oriented with excellent communications skills
• Creative, persistent and outgoing personality, with a keen eye for details
• Proactive, positive and self-motivated with ability to work without close supervision
