Senior Manager/AVP, HR Compensation & Benefits

The incumbent plays a key role in overseeing and administering the Group Compensation and Benefits programs. The goal is to attract, motivate and retain high performers while reducing turnover and enhancing Sembcorp Industries’s profile as a Great Place to Work. This position shall report to the Head of Group HR & OD.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

•Group Compensation Programs
?Lead and manage the team in major exercises such as March variable bonus payout, July annual increment and promotion review exercise, salary adjustment review, entry pay review and any ad-hoc initiatives and projects assigned.

?Manage relationships with consultants and other third-party providers to deliver on Group Compensation and Benefits objectives.

?Review and develop Group Compensation and Benefits policies to attract, motivate and retain talent.

•Job Evaluation
?Review and establish robust job evaluation process across the Group.

?Conduct regular Hay Job Evaluation training sessions to Business HR partners.

?Review job evaluation tools and materials to enhance governance and efficiency.

•Partnering with Stakeholders
?Work with Business HR partner to review and propose all Compensation and Benefits related matters of assigned Business Units.

?Conduct analysis for BU annual increment/variable bonus proposal and ensure proper approval is sought.

?Work with Business HR partner to support BUs in major exercises such as Group performance calibration exercise

Qualifications & Experience Required

•Bachelor degree in Business or related subjects, with minimum 8 years’ experience within related area

•Good understanding of HR processes and is able to see the big picture – ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge in complex concepts

•Proactive, responsive and accurate service delivery in high-paced environment

•Excellent analytical, problem solving and time-management skills
