SembCorp Industries' 1H2000 Financial Results Presentation & Masnet

SembCorp Industries' wholly-owned waste management unit SembCorp Waste Management (SembWM) has succeeded in the tender for the acquisition of SEMAC - the largest waste management company in Singapore - at a bid price of $120 million.

SembCorp Industries wishes to announce that following its news release of May 3, 2000 on the transfer of its travel business to Safe2Travel.com, an 85/15 per cent joint venture between PACfusion.com and Asia Pacific Retail Concepts, the sale and purchase transaction between SAFE & Mansfield Travel Group and Safe2Travel.com was completed today (June 20, 2000).
