SembWaste Cleantech, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SembCorp Environmental Management (SembEnviro) has landed cleaning contracts valued at S$24.8 million over the next three years.

SembEnviro Alex Fraser, a 75/25 joint venture company between SembCorp Environmental Management (SembEnviro) and Alex Fraser Group of Australia, today officially opened Southeast Asia’s first integrated construction and demolition waste materials recovery facility in Sarimbun Recycling Park, Lim Chu Kang, Singapore.

SembCorp Marine Ltd announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary Dolphin Shipping Company Pte Limited (Dolphin) has on August 8, 2003 entered into a joint venture with Pacific Carriers Limited (PCL) to operate and service offshore supply boats that would include anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels, ocean going tugs, barges and workboats in the South East Asian region.

Jurong Shipyard, a subsidiary of SembCorp Marine, has signed two shipbuilding contracts worth S$110 million to design and build another two units of 2600 TEU container vessels for Wan Hai Lines. These two contracts are options that Wan Hai Lines has exercised following two shipbuilding contracts worth an aggregate of S$110 million that were signed in July 2003.
