Sembawang Shipyard Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SembCorp Marine, has secured a S$300 million contract from Equinox Offshore Accommodation Limited, comprising one-plus-five options to convert passenger / car ferries to DP2 Accommodation and Repair Vessels (ARV).

SembCorp Marine (“SCM”) wishes to announce that BNP Paribas has served a statutory demand dated 20 November 2007 on its wholly owned subsidiary, Jurong Shipyard Pte Ltd (“JSPL”), under section 254(2)(a) of the Companies Act for payment of a sum of US$50,723,070 within 21 days from the date of the demand. The amount demanded is part of the loss of US$303,000,000 announced on 1 November 2007 from the unauthorized transactions which JSPL maintains are not valid and binding.

Sembcorp Industries Ltd (the “Group”) announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sembcorp Environmental Management Pte Ltd (“SembEnviro”) has divested its entire 90 per cent shareholding in SembEnviro KK Asia Pte Ltd (“SKKA”) comprising 13,500,000 ordinary shares. Following the divestment, SKKA ceased to be a subsidiary of the Group.

The Board of Directors of SembCorp Marine (“SCM”) wishes to announce the appointment of Mrs Maureen Leong as Director, Group Finance. Her appointment takes immediate effect.
