Sembmarine SLP Limited (SLP), a subsidiary of Sembcorp Marine is pleased to announce that it has secured a contract worth approximately £7 million to fabricate the Bridge and Flare Structures for Nexen Petroleum UK Ltd’s Golden Eagle Project. SLP is already the EPC provider for the Project’s Living Quarters Platform which, together with the Bridge and Flare Structures, is scheduled for delivery in May 2014.

Sembcorp Marine's subsidiary PPL Shipyard has secured orders for two turnkey contracts with a combined value of US$417 million for the construction of two units of jack-up rigs from repeat customer Integradora de Servicios Petroleros Oro Negro, S.A.P.I. de C.V (""Oro Negro"").

Sembcorp Marine's subsidiary PPL Shipyard has secured a repeat order to build a second Pacific Class 400 jack-up rig worth US$208 million from Perisai (L) Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Perisai Petroleum Teknologi Bhd.

SMOE, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Marine, has secured a contract worth about S$900 million from Det norske oljeselskap ASA, Norway (www.detnor.no) for engineering, procurement and construction of the Process, Drilling and Quarters Platform (pdQ) Topsides to be installed at a water depth of 112 metres for the Ivar Aasen development in the North Sea.

With reference to the earlier announcement on 22 July 2011, Sembcorp Marine wishes to announce that its subsidiary Jurong Shipyard (JSPL) has reached an agreement, made strictly on a commercial basis, with its former Auditors Ernst & Young LLP for a full and final amicable settlement in respect of the claims relating to the unauthorised foreign exchange transactions.

Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp) has achieved a significant milestone in the expansion of its seawater desalination capacity in the UAE, with the signing of a 20-year water purchase agreement with the Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Company (ADWEC) through its joint venture, Emirates Sembcorp Water & Power Company (ESC).

Sembcorp Marine's wholly-owned subsidiary Sembawang Shipyard, a global leader in the highly specialised segment of cruise ship repairs, refurbishment and conversion, ushered in 2013 with a series of 4 cruise ships in January.
