Sembcorp Industries is pleased to announce that its subsidiary Sembcorp North-West Power Company has successfully secured project financing for its Sirajganj power project in Bangladesh.

As part of its leadership succession plan, Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp) announces that its Group President & CEO, Tang Kin Fei, will retire on March 31, 2017 after 30 years with the Group. He will be succeeded by Neil McGregor, with effect from April 1, 2017.

Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp) is pleased to announce its first solar energy project in Singapore, which will provide renewable power to two airfreight terminals near Singapore Changi Airport. This will be one of the largest single-location solar energy systems in the country.

Sembcorp Marine Limited (the "Company", and the Company and its subsidiaries, the “Group”) refers to the announcement made on November 15, 2016 (the “Announcement”) by the Company, pursuant to which it was announced that the Company had entered into a sale and purchase agreement (the “SPA”) with China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company (“COSCO”) to dispose of its 30% equity interest (the “Disposal”) in Cosco Shipyard Group Co., Ltd (“CSG”).

The Board of Directors of Sembcorp Marine Limited (the "Company", and the Company and its subsidiaries, the “Group”) wishes to announce that it has today entered into a sale and purchase agreement (the “SPA”) with China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company (“COSCO”) to dispose of its 30% equity interest (the “Disposal”) in Cosco Shipyard Group Co., Ltd (“CSG”).

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore and President Joko Widodo of Indonesia presided today over the official opening of Park by the Bay, a new 2,700-hectare integrated township in Semarang, Central Java, by Sembcorp Development, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries. The project is set to form the economic engine to draw investment and create jobs for a region which Indonesia has earmarked for greater development. At the same time, it will serve as an emblem of private sector economic cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore.

Singapore-based Sembcorp Marine Ltd’s subsidiary, Sembcorp Marine Rigs & Floaters Pte. Ltd., and Paris-based ENGIE have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to cooperate in the development and deployment of Sembcorp Marine’s proprietary Gravifloat technology for LNG-to-Power near-shore terminals, focusing on small LNG power businesses with 10 MW to 300 MW capacities.

Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp) posted a net profit of S$247.4 million and a turnover of S$5.9 billion for the first nine months of 2016 (9M2016) compared to S$488.1 million and S$7.1 billion in 9M2015 respectively.

Sembcorp Marine Ltd (the “Company”) refers to the announcement made on June 8, 2016 on a standstill agreement between North Atlantic Drilling Ltd (“NADL”) and Jurong Shipyard Pte Ltd (“JSPL”), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, for the delivery of the semi-submersible drilling rig, the West Rigel (the “Unit”). The Company wishes to announce that the standstill agreement has been further extended to January 6, 2017.

Sembcorp Industries is pleased to announce the appointment of Yap Chee Keong as an independent director and a member of its board’s audit committee and risk committee, with effect from October 1, 2016.
