Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp) today announced that a joint venture formed between its fully-owned subsidiary Sembcorp Utilities and the Oman Investment Corporation has executed a 15-year contract to supply power and water to the Oman Power and Water Procurement Company, which is wholly-owned by the Government of Oman.

Less than 18 months after it won the tender for Singapore’s fifth and largest NEWater project, Sembcorp Industries today announced that the first phase of the Sembcorp Changi NEWater Plant (SCNP) has been completed on schedule, and will begin commercial operations next month, with delivery of its first flow of NEWater to the PUB, Singapore’s national water agency.
