Providing Clean Power to Museo Camera

For photographers, knowing how to leverage natural lighting from the sun can make a difference between a good and great photo. At Museo Camera, Centre for Photographic Arts, sunlight does way more than just that. Today, the museum is powered through sustainable clean electricity generated from solar energy, using a 60kWp energy-efficient rooftop solar system donated and installed by us.

We are expected to help the museum, located in Gurugram, India, reduce close to 1,700 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions equivalent (tCO2e) over the system’s lifetime, roughly the same as planting over 2,700 teak trees*!

*Estimated based on calculator by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy of India: https://solarrooftop.gov.in/rooftop_calculator .
Figures are estimated for entire lifetime of the project.
