Sembcorp Named One Of The Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations In The World

Sembcorp Industries has been named one of the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World by Corporate Knights, a Canadian financial magazine for “clean capitalism”.
Launched in 2005, the “Global 100” is announced each year at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The list includes companies from 24 countries and a diverse range of sectors, chosen from a universe of 3000 international listed companies. Companies were ranked according to 11 environmental, social and governance performance metrics, including energy productivity, waste productivity, sustainability leadership and remuneration, board diversity and transparency in sustainability reporting.
Sembcorp was one of only two Singapore companies in the list, and was ranked at 78th place.
